Skincare Shelfie: My Favorite Products

Skincare and self care are synonymous to me. It’s right on up there with mental health, body positivity, and a good glass of wine.

Some products change every now and then but the category of what they do remains the same. I will change up my moisturizer and serum but I will ALWAYS use a moisturizer and serum. Over the last few months, however, I’ve been using the same products and have loved the results I’ve been getting.

I start by washing my face at the end of every day with a cleanser, follow it up with serum, eye cream, and finally my moisturizer.

Calm down, I’m going to give you the breakdown! Otherwise I did nothing here.

Cleanser

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser

This cleanser does the tough job of removing the crap of the day from my face, be it makeup or just the day’s grime.

Serum

Prism Exfoliating Glow Potion

There are a ton of serums out there. This one is not only more affordable, but it smells amazing and makes my skin glow. So I’m in this relationship for the long haul.

Eye Cream

Sunday Riley’s Auto Correct Brightening and Depuffing Eye Contour Cream

This eye cream is the best one I’ve ever used (and I’ve used quite a few). It’s a little pricy which is why I tried cheaper brands, but none of them work like this baby. My circles are not as visible thanks to the cream’s slight shimmer, and the puffiness is without a doubt vastly decreased. A note with this one - it dispenses WAY more than you will ever need. Use half a pump each time to make it last longer and the price make more sense.

Moisturizer

Juice Beauty’s Green Apple Age Defy Moisturizer

I found this one after I finished a much more expensive moisturizer and was super upset that it was empty after just two months. This moisturizer smells citrusy and delicious, gives my skin hydration and makes it shine even more. What I also like about Juice’s moisturizer is that it does not have a dispenser. I take as much as I feel I need (which also means it will last way longer than the ones with a dispenser),
