Slow Cooker Recipes for the Busy Bee
Getting myself a crock pot was the best thing I could have done to my weekends. Substituting one dish for the week with a slow cooker recipe has made my meal prepping SO MUCH EASIER. While I make one dish in the oven or on the stove, I have another one already in the making.
I love me some multitasking glory.
As with all new things, I’ve been testing out my slow cooker every weekend since getting it and I have not been disappointed. Spending some time pinning some comforting, healthy, and delicious recipes has been one of my new favorite pastimes.
Since the point here is to help make your life easier too, I wanted to share my favorite slow cooker recipes that are not only DELICIOUS (and make enough to alternate days of meal prep during the entire work week) but are super easy to make too.
Talk about hearty, healthy, filling, and yummy. This turkey chili was cake to make and made a really nice amount. I froze half the prepared dish to have another time since it made a full 3 qt crock pot for me. If you’re more than one person, you obviously don’t need to freeze anything but you’ll still end up with enough chili for the whole fam.
This chicken is crack. There, I said it. I made this recipe and put it over brown rice, which was complimented beautifully by it. This one is a little more calorie dense thanks to the peanut butter and coconut milk, but it’s not only worth it, but in moderation it’s downright perfect for you.
You have beef and you have broccoli. What else do you need in life? I added wayyyyy more broccoli to this baby but that’s just because I’m obsessed with little green trees.
While I didn’t add the cheese like they recommend, everything else they put in this recipe goes so well and makes it a perfect lunch recipe to take to work. Or any time honestly.
